Who is the principal of ?
was established by Bill Simonian to share his experience as an academic counselor. Bill co-founded SCI-Arc in 1972 and retired in 2007 after 34 years of service to the school. While there as a faculty member, he taught design, history, and professional practice. As a concurrent staff member, he worked with admissions and acted as a liaison to community colleges and to the architectural profession at-large.
The school's academic counselor from its inception, Bill assumed the role of student advocate and monitored the progress of graduate and undergraduate students through regular meetings.
As a representative of SCI-Arc, he maintained membership in the advisory councils of several local community colleges with respect to their architectural curricula. His own professional architectural experience, privately and with offices, spanned more than 25 years.

While Bill does proudly maintain membership in SCI-Arc's Alumni Association as one of the school's founding faculty members, he envisions as a completely neutral platform from which to solicit queries and offer unbiased advice relative to one's choice of architecture as a career path. He is prepared to discuss a gamut of educational options as may be required or requested, how they may be affected by transfer credits, and how one's ultimate choice of such programs may influence one's professional goals.
